Dr. Evan Kowalski
Dr. Evan Kowalski grew up on the east side of the state in Brighton, MI. After graduating from Michigan State University in 2010, he spent the next few years working as a research associate in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan. He stayed in Ann Arbor to attend dental school at the University of Michigan. Upon graduation in 2017, he worked as an associate before taking over as the practice owner of Comstock Family Dentistry in 2019.
Dr. Kowalski is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. While he loves the technical and scientific aspects of being a dentist, he has just as much fun getting to know his patients. Even if he’s short on time, Dr. Kowalski will always be sure to ask you what is going on in your life. When he isn’t busy working on teeth, you can usually find him working on home projects; he’s quite the handyman! He also enjoys camping, exercising, anything to do with cars, and spending time with his wife, Natalie. Dr. Kowalski and Natalie have two fun-loving dogs, Dixie and Freya. They will soon be adding a new member to their family with a baby on the way!

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Uggeri thoroughly enjoys cycling, which led her to work for multiple organizations, including Backroads, Bike and Build, and Openroads. Her work in these groups took her to Italy, and saw her biking across the United States and teaching bicycle mechanic skills to kids in Kalamazoo. She is also passionate about gardening and sustainability. She even managed the Western Michigan University Community Garden and worked as a caretaker at Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum for several years. Dr. Uggeri is excited to join the team and can’t wait to meet you!
