Linda
Linda is originally from the UP, but she was raised in a small, rural town just south of Kalamazoo. She describes her hometown as a place much like “CHEERS”, where everybody knows your name. Her dental career began over 40 years ago as an assistant at a busy dental practice, where she learned a lot about dentistry, people, and life in general. Over the years, Linda has witnessed the evolution of dentistry first-hand; from new materials and concepts to cutting-edge technology, she has seen it all! Working in dentistry has been an interesting and rewarding career for Linda. Her excellent skills and thorough knowledge base have allowed her to wear many different hats in dentistry. In addition to her 30+ years working as an assistant, she has experience in laboratory and office management. While Linda’s technical skills and knowledge are impressive, her people skills are what truly set her apart! Whenever she meets new people, she greets them with a warm welcome, treating them as friends rather than complete strangers. She also does this when she meets new patients, as she hopes to help them have the most pleasant experience at the dentist’s office! In her “me time”, Linda loves being outdoors in the sun, gardening, boating, and spending time with loved ones.
Kate
Kate grew up near Plainwell with two older sisters and the most encouraging set of parents anyone could ask for. Some of her most treasured memories include being her father’s number one fan at his band gigs, a rickety swing set positioned with an uninterrupted view of his softball games, re-watching every Adam Sandler classic movie, and weekly visits to the local bowling alley (which she admittedly used to develop a unique, sometimes useful expertise at claw machines). Having a strong background in customer service, Kate understands that there is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to dealing with patients; what works well for one person may not work for another. As a member of Comstock Family Dentistry’s office staff, Kate’s main objective is to make sure that you feel comfortable and understood. She’s the type of person who will jump at any opportunity to ensure that you thoroughly enjoy your experience at our clinic. She is grateful to be a part of Comstock Family Dentistry’s courteous and amiable team that truly cares about the patient experience. She can’t wait to meet you!
