Kathy has faithfully and enthusiastically worked at Comstock Family Dentistry for almost 30 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. After she began working in dentistry, she was somehow able to make time to earn her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Studies; now that’s dedication! Kathy has been married for 38 years to her very supportive and loving husband, Dan. Together, they have two married children; David, 29, and Kristen, 27 years old. Kathy recently became a grandmother, and she looks forward to cleaning her granddaughter’s teeth in a couple more years at Comstock Family Dentistry, just like she did for her daughter at that age! Her hobbies include biking, paddle-boarding, pickleball, softball, gardening, camping with family, and touring in one of her Model A’s with her husband. She is also passionate about her relationship with God and has participated in Bible Study Fellowship for over 25 years. When Kathy retires, she plans to teach Dental Hygiene students at KVCC where she graduated in 1985. She is grateful to God for enabling her to truly enjoy being a Dental Hygienist for so many years!
Sandi was born on the east side of the state, but West Michigan is home to her, as she spent most of her life in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. She received her license in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College and has been working as a hygienist at Comstock Family Dentistry for 18 years. She has certifications in local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide, as well as extensive experience in periodontics. Sandi takes great pride in her job. She makes it a priority to stay up to date on the newest technologies and hygiene products and regularly attends continuing education courses. Outside of work, Sandi enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as doing crafts around the house.
After spending her childhood and teenage years in Flint, Michigan, Liz moved to Kalamazoo in 1981. She has quite a unique background, with experience working as a dog groomer, waitress, department store clerk, and aircraft parts and warranty administrator. Liz began her career in dentistry as a Dental Hygienist 21 years ago, and we are proud to say that the last 20 of those years have been here with us at Comstock Family Dentistry. She is happily married and has one son. She likes to spend her free time gardening, reading, and going on road trips around Michigan.
